What has become of Tamara?

I bought the book more than four years ago and enjoyed reading it. It’s a novel by an Irish female author. It’s a first person narrative.

It’s about a teenage girl who was, along with her mother, compelled to leave her house and live at her uncle’s in the country. They could no longer live in their house as her father wasn’t able to repay the loan the bank made to him and as a result, he committed suicide.

In reading this gripping and page-turning novel, we can’t help but get the impression that Tamara’s aunt is plotting something even though she endeavourd to please everybody, including her sister-in-law.
